Back To School Mondays: University of Waterloo Warriors

The University of Waterloo Warriors finished out the 2010-11 season in sixth place in the nine team West Conference. Included on Waterloo’s roster this season were four Ontario Hockey League grads.

university of waterloo warriors hockey logoAaron Lewicki – Aaron played in the Ontario Hockey League for four seasons from 2002-03 to 2004-05. Lewicki got to experience life around the province, playing for the Kingston Frontenacs, Belleville Bulls, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and Barrie Colts.

Colin Carwardine – Colin played parts of two seasons with the Windsor Spitfires, 2005-06 and 2006-07.

Kyle Sonnenburg – Kyle played five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League from 2003-04 to 2006-07, with the Belleville Bulls and Brampton Battalion.

Steve Whitely – Steve used the moving truck more than Aaron Lewicki. Whitely played for five different teams over four OHL season, 2004-05 to 2007-08. Steve appeared in the jerseys of the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors, Saginaw Spirit, Belleville Bulls, Plymouth Whalers and Sarnia Sting.
