Find Out Where Your Favourite OHL Grads Are Playing

brad may stanley cupBrad May was put on waivers last week by the Detroit Redwings so we thought we better do a post on ‘Mayday’ while he’s still an active Ontario Hockey League alumnus.

Brad spent his OHL days with the Niagara Falls Thunder. He played three seasons between 1988-89 and 1990-91. He had over 600 PIM in his three seasons but also added offence. In his second season he had 33 goals and 58 assists for 91 points. This was a team that finished the regular season with just a .379 winning percentage yet went on to the league semi-finals before bowing out to the Kitchener Rangers.

In his final season in the OHL, Brad notched 37 goals in just 34 games. He also added 32 assists for 69 points. He was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres and would go directly to the NHL team in 1991-92.

Brad has made a few stops in his NHL career including: Buffalo, Vancouver, Phoenix, Colorado, Anaheim, Toronto and Detroit. We hope this won’t be the end of May’s career, but if it is – he’s had a good one.

Visit Brad’s personal website for further updates.
