His first season consisted of just 8 games with the Barrie Colts. The following season, he played a backup role with the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors and appeared in 19 games. 2004-05, by far his most successful season in the OHL was played with the Mississauga IceDogs. During his final season, he split his play between the IceDogs and the Owen Sound Attack, appearing in a total of 58 games between the two.

As mentioned, 2004-05 was a successful season for Ouzas. He was named Ontario Hockey League Goaltender of the Year with the IceDogs. Over 44 games, his goals against average was a paltry 2.18 while his save percentage was .926.

Undrafted, Michael spent two seasons in the Canadian university system after graduating from the Ontario Hockey League. Playing for the powerhouse University of New Brunswick, he went to the national championships in both 2006-07 and 2007-08. The team won the title in the first year and was runner-up in the second. Michael’s numbers during that second season were amazing with a 1.91 GAA and a .924 save percentage.

2008-09 marked his first season in professional hockey. His season was split between the Fresno Falcons and the Reading Royals of the ECHL. This past season, 2009-10, Ouzas went out to the Arizona desert to play for the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL where he settled into the starter role, playing 42 games. Michael returns to Las Vegas for the 2010-11 season.

In 2001-02, he helped the Barrie Colts get to the Robertson Cup finals before losing to the Erie Otters for the Ontario Hockey League playoff crown.

With the Las Vegas Wranglers in 2007-08, Power helped the team to a first place finish in the National Conference. The team had a great playoff run and made it to the Kelly Cup finals before losing to Cincinnati.

Over the past two seasons, Aaron has played in Europe. Last season, Power played for HC Fassa of Italy’s Lega Italiana Hockey Ghiaccio (LIHG). The season before, Aaron played in Germany’s Bundesliga with Heilbronner Falken.

Previous to his first go-around with the Las Vegas Wranglers, Aaron spent three seasons with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL as well as AHL call-ups to the Hamilton Bulldogs and Bridgeport Sound Tigers as well as an extended stay with the Cleveland Barons for 50 games in 2005-06.
