Calder Memorial Trophy
Since 1932-33, the Calder Trophy has been awarded to the National Hockey League’s top first year player. Many winners played in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL, OMJHL, OHA) before getting their NHL start. After a long period of non-OHLers winning the Calder, three of the past four recipients have been from the Ontario Hockey League.
