Pitton Brothers, OHL Alumni, Both Playing for AHL’s Springfield Falcons

Ontario Hockey League fans in Brampton, Sault Ste. Marie and Guelph will know the last name Pitton. Brothers Bryan and Jason are both OHL grads and are both playing for the Springfield Falcons of the AHL. Both have also spent time with Springfield’s ECHL affiliate, the Stockton Thunder, this season.Jason Pitton played in the OHL from 2002-03 to 2005-06. His first season consisted of just one game with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. Jason spent the next two full seasons with the Greyhounds before splitting his final season with the Sault and the Guelph Storm. An 8th round pick of the New York Islanders, Pitton spent three seasons with their AHL affiliate in Bridgeport before moving over to the Edmonton Oilers minor league system this year.
Bryan Pitton played between the pipes for the Brampton Battalion from 2005-06 to 2007-08. A 5th round pick of the Edmonton Oilers in 2006, Bryan has spent the better part of the past two seasons with the ECHL’s Stockton Thunder.
