In his first and third season with Ottawa, the 67’s went to the Robertson Cup finals. They won the first season and lost in Carter’s third to the Kitchener Rangers. Trevisani played a pretty amazing 53 playoff games over the three seasons.

Trevisani was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in the eighth round of the 2001 National Hockey League draft, 244th overall. At the end of his Ontario Hockey League career, Carter immediately jumped to Italy and the Lega Italiana Hockey Ghiaccio (LIHG). Trevisani has played in the league since, except for 2006-07 when he played in Sweden’s Allsvenskan.

His dual citizenship allowed him to appear at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games for Italy, scoring one goal in five games. He has appeared for Italy at the IIHF World Hockey Championships on three different occasions.

Trevisani is entering his second season with HC Asiago. Previously, he has played for Brunico, Milano and Verese in the league.
