After reaching the Ontario Hockey League finals in 2009, when they lost to the mighty Windsor Spitfires, the Brampton Battalion took a step back for the 2009-10 season. The Battalion finished the season with 32 less points than the year before yet still made it to the Eastern Conference semi-finals before bowing out.
